Bike rider killed by a bus in Makati

MANILA, Philippines—A man was killed after he was dragged under a passenger bus in Makati early Wednesday, a Palalan village official said.

Richard Lazaro said the victim, identified as Anthony Gonzalez, 30, was riding his bicycle in along Marconi Street near Gil Puyat Avenue when he was dragged by the bus.

Lazaro said the victim died on the spot while the still unidentified driver allegedly escaped and abandoned his bus along Pasay City.

A report from Radyo Inquirer 990AM said the licence plate of the bus was PYT 548.
