Gas station employee shot in Digos robbery

DIGOS CITY, Philippines—A supervisor of a gasoline station here was injured when he was shot by a robber Monday morning, authorities said.

The victim was identified as Rodelito Capa, 39, an employee of a Shell gasoline station along Rizal Street.

Ronald Pamat, cashier at of the gas station, said the motorcycle-riding assailant arrived at around 10:45 a.m. and grabbed a bag containing cash, which Capa was supposed to deposit at a bank on Monday.

Pamat said Capa tried to fight it out with the robber but was shot in the waist.
