Laguna Aquatech develops new water sources to boost Bay’s supply
Residents of the Municipality of Bay, Laguna are set to benefit from improved water supply and service delivery once Manila Water Non-East Zone operating unit Laguna Aquatech completes the construction and energization of new water sources located in LCC, Bay Garden Homes Subdivision, and Bay View Subdivision. The projects, which are targeted to be fully operational by October 2025, are expected to serve a combined total of almost 7,500 water service connections across the municipality.
MANILA, Philippines – Residents of the Municipality of Bay, Laguna are set to benefit from improved water supply and service delivery once Manila Water Non-East Zone operating unit Laguna Aquatech completes the construction and energization of new water sources located in LCC, Bay Garden Homes Subdivision, and Bay View Subdivision.
The projects, which are targeted to be fully operational by October 2025, are expected to serve a combined total of 7,441 water service connections or 28,424 customers across the municipality. Specifically, the Bay Garden Homes Subdivision will be supplied with 794 connections, Bay View Subdivision with 3,469 connections, and LCC with 3,178 connections.
In addition to increasing water supply, the developments will address pressure concerns by improving levels from 5 to 15 pounds per square inch (psi), ensuring more consistent and reliable water delivery to households. Each facility is also equipped with advanced DMI-65 filtration technology, designed to enhance water quality by removing iron, manganese, and other contaminants.

To foster transparency and strengthen stakeholder engagement, Laguna Aquatech recently conducted a Lakbayan, a guided tour of the ongoing projects. Aside from the facilities under construction, participants also visited the Jubileeville Pump Station, which currently supplies the entire municipality of Bay. Once the new sources are energized, Jubileeville will be deloaded by about 2,245 water service connections, further optimizing supply and distribution across the service area.
The Lakbayan was attended by Bay Vice Mayor Michael Punzalan, who expressed his strong support for the initiative and its positive impact on the local community, as well as representatives from the Municipal Planning and Development Office.
