MANILA, Philippines — Filipinos in various parts of the country are taking to the streets to protest corruption in government, including the anomalies in flood control projects, on Sunday, September 21, 2025.
Aside from the Baha sa Luneta rally in Manila’s Luneta Park on Sunday morning, protesters gathered at the Edsa People Power Monument on Sunday afternoon as part of the Trillion Peso March.
Church and civic groups have also organized protests in other parts of the country.

September 21 was declared as the National Day of Protest by former President Rodrigo Duterte, the same day as the 51st anniversary of the declaration of martial law by President Ferdinand Marcos Sr. /das
