The western section of Luzon and Visayas and the whole of Mindanao will experience mostly cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms, while the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said.

At 2:00 a.m. Tuesday, the shallow low pressure area was seen 100 kilometers of South of Mindanao.

Moderate to strong winds blowing from the Southwest will prevail over Northern Luzon and its coastal waters will be moderate to rough. Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the Southwest with slight to moderate seas, Pagasa said.
