MANILA, Philippines – Parts of the country will experience rains and cloudy skies due to a shallow low pressure area in southern Mindanao and southwest monsoon in Luzon, the state weather bureau said on Tuesday.

The western section of Luzon and Visayas and the whole of Mindanao will experience mostly cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms, while the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said.
