Prosecutors file charges against fake butt doctor
TWO of three charges were filed in court yesterday against the 56-year-old woman who injected collagen in the buttocks of two women in an illegal cosmetic procedure.
Gloria Rabor will be facing trial on charges of estafa and possession of illegal drug paraphernalia.
Bail of P40,000 was recommended for each case in the Regional Trial Court.
A separate complaint for violating Republic Act 2382 or the Medical Act of 1959 filed against Rabor is still pending with the Cebu City Prosecutors’ Office.
Owing to the technical nature of the third case, prosecutors said they need time to determine probable cause for a medical malpractice case.
Rabor, a resident of Kinasang-an Pardo, Cebu City, admitted commiting blunder in performing butt enhancement surgery on two women in Bohol.
