MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Transportation (DOTr), Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), and Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) deployed buses and trucks in parts of Metro Manila on Tuesday to assist passengers who still needed to travel amid rains and flooding caused by the southwest monsoon, locally known as habagat.
In a Facebook advisory on Tuesday, the DOTr said the deployment of buses and trucks would run from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
“Buses and trucks will pick up passengers along the Quiapo–Angono, Quiapo–Fairview, Lawton–Alabang, and Philcoa–Fairview routes,” the DOTr said.
