MAN SHOT OVER DEBT
A MAN was shot over an unpaid debt in sitio Sombrea, barangay Lawaan II, Talisay City, yesterday morning.
Rolando Canencia, 39, was wounded in the chest and left armpit.
The gunman was identified as Ricky Tan, 22, reportedly a policeman and a resident of Mananga II, Tabunok, Talisay City, said police.
SPO1 Mikie Espina of Talisay City Police said the victim pawned his pair of shoes to Tan.
Yesterday, he wanted to get the pawned item, but he could not pay his debt. This allegedly irked Tan who said he also borrowed the money that he loaned to Canencia from a friend.
