P2 million marijuana seized; 3 nabbed in Mabalacat City

MANILA, Philippines — Marijuana products valued at P2 million were confiscated in Mabalacat City, Pampanga, leading to the arrest of three individuals, the Police Regional Office (PRO 3) announced.

This was the result of a buy-bust operation in Barangay Bical on Wednesday afternoon, PRO 3 detailed in a statement on Thursday.

Authorities confiscated 218 marijuana-flavored vape cartridges valued at P872,000; 520 grams of suspected kush valued at P858,000; two kilograms of dried marijuana leaves valued at P240,000; and 19 pieces of marijuana oil valued at P30,000, the police noted.

PRO 3 identified the individuals arrested as “Jek-jek” and “Josh,” both Mabalacat City residents, and “Ana,” an Angeles City resident.

The confiscated drugs and the arrested suspects were taken to the Mabalacat City Police Station for proper disposition.
