Cloudy skies, rainshowers over PH due to low pressure area – Pagasa
MANILA, Philippines – A shallow low pressure area and a monsoon trough will bring mostly cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers or thunderstorms to the entire archipelago, state forecasters said Wednesday.
The shallow low pressure area was seen 460 kilometers east of Southern Visayas, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said in its 5:00 a.m. bulletin.
Meanwhile, a monsoon trough or an extension of a low pressure area was affecting Luzon and Visayas, it added.
Light to moderate winds blowing from the southwest will prevail throughout the archipelago and the coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
