PRC: No one passed June 2025 plant mechanics special licensure exam

MANILA, Philippines — No one passed the June 2025 Special Professional Licensure Examination (SPLE) for Certified Plant Mechanics, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on Tuesday.
The PRC said that the examination was held from June 6-8, 2025, in testing centers in the Middle East, Singapore, and Taiwan.

The PRC noted that the Board of Mechanical Engineering is led by its Chairperson Engr. Rodulfo Tablante and its members Engr. Manuel Paulino and Engr. Ramon Solis.
Meanwhile, 20 out of 74 examinees passed the Special Professional Licensure Exam for Mechanical Engineers.

The PRC noted that SPLEs, which started in 1997, allows the enhancement of the qualified overseas Filipino workers’ employability and competitiveness “as it would greatly boost their edge in the labor market.”
