Manila Philippines—A militant group urged senators to “move on” from the impeachment trial and discuss calls for a wage hike, a Radyo Inquirer report by Ruel Perez said early Tuesday.

Sanny Manudez of the Koalisyon ng Progresibong Manggagawa at Mamamayan (KPMM) said after almost four months the Senate impeachment court tried former Chief Justice Renato Corona, senators should now discuss the issues of the P125 across-the-board wage hike and P6, 000 minimum pay proposed by the workers’ groups.

Members of the KPMM will converge at 1 p.m. near the Film Center of the Philippines and the Philippine International Convention Center in Pasay City before marching to the Senate.
