P9.7M worth of marijuana seized in Camarines Sur

LEGAZPI CITY, Philippines — Authorities arrested a high-value drug personality and recovered P9.7 million worth of dried marijuana leaves in Milaor town in Camarines Sur on Sunday night, June 15.
In a report on Monday, Camarines Sur police said that the suspect, identified only as “Ray,” 21, sold a brick containing suspected dried marijuana leaves with fruiting tops in exchange for P10,000 in Barangay Maydaso, at 8:40 p.m.
During the search, the police officers and agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency recovered a total of 80.1 kilograms of suspected illegal drugs displayed on the steel rack shelves of the rented apartment of the suspect.

He was tagged as a high-value drug dealer and included in the regional drug watchlist.
He is under the custody of the Milaor police and facing charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. /atm
