MANILA, Philippines—Fire that gutted homes in Manila early Tuesday has been put out by firemen, an official from the Pandacan fire station said.
Sergeant Carlito Abenido said the fire that gutted a still undetermined number of houses on Paradise Street in Pandacan, Manila reached third alarm before it was contained at 12:07 p.m., about 15 minutes after it started at 11:52 a.m. Tuesday.
No immediate reports of injuries or casualties have reached the fire department’s office, Abenido said, adding the cause of the blaze is yet to be investigated.
