PJ Garcia – 2nd poorest Cebu solon

REP. Pablo John Garca, who is seeking the Cebu governorship next year, declared a P14.2 million net worth, making him the second  poorest Cebu solon but a far placer from bottom dweller Tomas Osmeña’s P5.1 million.

Garcia reported two residential properties in Cebu City (Guadalupe, Sudlon) and residential/agricultural properties in the province – Toledo City, Pinamungahan, Dumanjug in his SALN.

His income as congressman was recorded as P675,918 a year.

He declared  P9 million worth of vehicles and P1.8 million in jewelry.

He include in his assets his book collection at P500,000 and “stocks traded” at  P1.1 million.  His “interest in corporation” is listed at P800,000 with cash of P2.5 million.

However Garcia’s assets were reduced by loans for “car” and “housing” in the amount of P17,850,000.

For business interests and financial connections, Garcia said he is president of the PR Firm “Avocado Inc.” in 139 Acacia Street , Cebu City, a company where his wife Karen Hope is the treasurer.

He is also president of the real estate firm S & G Holdings, Inc in the same address. He listed the Cayetano Sebastian Law Offices in Makati  but no details were given.
