MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Tuesday encouraged the newly elected officers of the Federation of Filipino-Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (FFCCCII) to champion small and medium-sized enterprises for inclusive growth.

Speaking at the oath-taking ceremony of 265 FFCCCII officials in Binondo, Manila, Marcos said their leadership should encompass not only large enterprises but also small and medium-sized businesses.

“I challenge you now to lead with clarity. Steer our industries towards innovative strategies that are globally competitive, sustainable, and ready for the future,” Marcos also said.

Moreover, the President commended the FFCCCII for its commitment to national progress since 1954.

“True progress does not happen overnight. It is built patiently and purposefully by those who believe in something greater than themselves,” he said.
