PNP chief to fly to US, meet with NYPD counterpart

Manila, Philippines – Philippine National Police (PNP) Director General Nicanor Bartolome will fly to the US on June 14 to sign a memorandum of agreement (MOA) with the New York Police Department (NYPD), he told Radyo Inquirer on Monday.

Bartolome said the meeting with NYPD Chief Joseph Esposito will involve talks on the exchange of information between the PNP and NYPD, as well as plans for the joint training exercises and campaigns against terrorism.

NYPD is known for its strong and modern forces as well as its efficient enforcement of laws in the United States.
