Quezon City Police District
MANILA, Philippines — The drivers of the three vehicles involved in the fatal hit-and-run of a 61-year-old woman in Quezon City have surrendered to authorities, police said.
Closed-circuit television footage showed the woman being hit by two sports utility vehicles (SUV) and a sedan at the corner of Illinois Street and Aurora Boulevard in Barangay Silangan last May 17 evening.
In a statement on Wednesday, the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) said the driver of the sedan, 46-year-old Caloocan City resident “Nomer,” surrendered to authorities on the night of the incident.
Meanwhile, Rizal resident “Kelvin” voluntarily surrendered to the QCPD District Traffic Enforcement Unit after their SUV – the second vehicle to hit the woman – was impounded by authorities last Saturday afternoon.
Meanwhile, the driver of the first vehicle to hit the victim surrendered to authorities on Tuesday evening. They were only identified by police as “Teody.”

They all face a case for reckless imprudence resulting in homicide before the Quezon City Prosecutor’s Office.
However, Teody also faces a case for violating Article 275 of the Revised Penal Code, which pertains to abandonment of a person in danger, the QCPD said.
Nomer posted bail last Friday, the QCPD added./mr
