Classes suspended in Rosario, Cavite due to heavy rains

MANILA, Philippines – Mayor Jose “Nonong” Ricafrente on Monday announced the cancellation of classes in all levels in Rosario town, Cavite due to bad weather.

Ricafrente told Radyo Inquirer 990AM that he decided to suspend classes from day care to college due to heavy rains and flooding in their area.

“Tabing dagat kasi kami kaya kapag high tide pumapasok ang tubig. Medyo mababa pa naman [ang baha] pero malakas ang ulan… baka magkasakit ang mga bata,” he said.
