MANILA, Philippines — Some parts of the country will have overcast skies and rain showers on Sunday, May 25, 2025, due to the intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ), according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).
In a morning forecast, Pagasa said ITCZ will bring rain in parts of Mindanao, Mimaropa (Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, and Palawan), Bicol Region, and the western section of Visayas.

“As for the rest of the country, there will not be much cloud (cover) here in Luzon, so relatively warm weather will be experienced, especially in large parts of Luzon,” Pagasa weather specialist Obet Badrina added.
However, he said thunderstorms will prevail over these areas from afternoon until evening.
Meanwhile, Badrina said no low-pressure area or weather disturbances were monitored inside and outside the country’s area of responsibility.
He further reported that no gale warning was monitored in any of the country’s seaboard. /das
