President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has asked all Cabinet secretaries to submit their courtesy resignations to give way to a performance review and realign his administration’s priorities after the recent elections.

MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has asked all Cabinet secretaries to submit their courtesy resignations to give way to a performance review and realign his administration’s priorities after the recent elections.

Below is a list of officials who have officially tendered their courtesy resignations, those who have indicated they will comply, and those with no public remarks as of this posting:

Officials who have submitted courtesy resignations:

  1. Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin
  2. Secretary of Agriculture Francisco Tiu Laurel Jr.
  3. Secretary of Education Sonny Angara
  4. Secretary of Finance Ralph Recto
  5. Secretary of Social Welfare and Development Rex Gatchalian
  6. Secretary of Agrarian Reform Conrado Estrella III
  7. Secretary of Human Settlements and Urban Development Jose Acuzar
  8. Secretary of Tourism Maria Esperanza Christina Frasco
  9. Secretary of National Defense Gilbert Teodoro
  10. Secretary of the Interior and Local Government Jonvic Remulla
