Vinan tops Cambitas Mountain bike race
WARREN Vinan dominated the cross-country competition in the inaugural Cambitas Mountain Bike Challenge 2012 in barangay Babag Dos over the weekend.
Vinan conquered the 20-lap race race with a time of 45 minutes and 46 seconds to bag the win.
Jair Buhi-an claimed second spot honors with a time of 46 minutes and 19 seconds while I-K Roble rounded of the top three with a time of 53 minutes and four seconds.
Orville Tecson topped the 35-above race with a time of 22 minutes and 39 seconds while Wendel Valeriano trailed him at second place with a time of 27 minutes and 29 seconds.
Juncel Gapay came in at third, clocking 28 minutes and 48 seconds.
Roger Niere won the beginners category with a time of 21 minutes and nine seconds.
Christian Cabonita placed second (22 minutes and 25 seconds) followed by Brian Demetria (23 minutes and 13 seconds).
