MANILA, Philippines—Solicitor General Menardo Guevarra said he would tender his courtesy resignation as directed by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.
“The President needs all the leeway to move the country forward, including shuffling his Cabinet lieutenants. Like everyone else, the SolGen will tender his courtesy resignation as directed,” Guevarra said.
Guevarra is one of the earliest appointees of Marcos.
Marcos called on all Cabinet secretaries to submit their courtesy resignations to recalibrate his administration following the results of the 2025 midterm elections.
