Remulla to submit courtesy resignation as DILG chief

MANILA, Philippines — Interior and Local Government Secretary Jonvic Remulla confirmed he will submit his courtesy resignation on Thursday.

This move follows a call from President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. for the courtesy resignation of all Cabinet secretaries to recalibrate the administration after the midterm elections.

“I will submit mine later. I serve at the pleasure of the President,” Remulla said in a message to INQUIRER.net on Thursday morning.
