LUCENA CITY — Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) operatives and police dismantled early Saturday, May 17, an alleged drug den and arrested six suspects in Bacoor City, Cavite.

A report posted by PDEA Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon) on its Facebook page said that at 12:20 a.m., its operatives and policemen raided a suspected drug den in Barangay (village) Queensrow West.

The raiders arrested “Pablo,” 55; “Rizaldy,” 40; “Abner,” 45; “Jay R,” 44; “Ronaldo,” 41; and “Kaye,” 29, after they were caught sniffing shabu or crystal meth.

Authorities seized seven grams of shabu worth P48,300 and assorted drug-sniffing paraphernalia.

The report did not identify the drug den maintainer among the suspects.

All arrested suspects were detained, and cases of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against them. /das
