DepEd: Removal of K-12 program for school year 2025-26 fake news

MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Education (DepEd) has debunked reports that the K-12 Program will be removed for the school year 2025-2026.

The agency said this in a social media post on Wednesday evening.

“The post circulating on social media about the elimination of the K to 12 program in the upcoming SY 2025-2026 is fake news,” the post read.

“DepEd reminds the public to be cautious and critical against misinformation,” it continued.
