2 nabbed for possession of P680-M worth of ‘shabu’ in Pampanga

MANILA, Philippines — Two individuals were arrested for possessing P680 million worth of “shabu” in Angeles City, Pampanga on Wednesday, according to the Police Regional Office (PRO) 3.
The PRO 3 said that the 101 kilos of shabu were seized from two high-value individuals in a joint buy-bust operation along Friendship Highway in Brgy. Sto. Domingo.

“Arrested in the operation were alias “Wang,” 31, a resident of Clark, Pampanga; and “Shania,” 24, and resident of San Sebastian, Tarlac City,” PRO 3 said in a statement.

Charges will be filed against the suspect for violating the Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2022, the PRO 3 added.
“PRO3 is one with the directive of PNP Chief PGEn Francisco D. Marbil to strengthen the campaign against drug syndicates to ensure peace and safety,” PRO3 Regional Director PB Gen. Jean Fajardo said in the same statement. /cb
