2011 Honda Racing Cup Vis-Min series continues

THE 2011 HONDA Racing Cup Visayas-Mindanao Series resumes tomorrow with the second leg to be held at the Kartzone Race Track in barangay Panagdait.

The event is a continuation of the series that began last February in Bayawan City in Negros. The race is being organized by Honda Philippines Inc. with the intentions of helping develop racing on the grassroots level and providing Honda owners a racing experience that is both safe and professionally organized.

There will be six categories in this event with two for the Honda Beat scooters, the 130cc and the 160cc open. The underbone will have the 100-125cc mix super stock beginners, the novice 130cc and the novice open 4-stroke. Beginners will also have the HPI dealer club race class.

Expected to duke it out for honors are Gary Caneda Jr., Keken Cabahug and Lyndon Requilme. Cabahug won top honors in round one of the Regional Underbone Grand prix last May. Caneda and Requilme, on the other hand, have been dominating the races in Dipolog, Tacloban and Bayawan City. Also expected to shine in this race is X-Racing top gun rider Mario Borbon.
