Vice President Sara Duterte said she believes she is on the International Criminal Court’s (ICC) arrest list.
“Nasa listahan ako. Marami. Marami kami na nasa listahan ng ICC (I’m on the list. Many of us are. There are many of us on the ICC’s list),” said Duterte in a recent chance interview in Carcar City, Cebu.
Palace: No info on Sara Duterte’s possible ICC arrest
The Palace has no information about Vice President Sara Duterte’s possible arrest, as the Philippines is “not dealing directly” with the International Criminal Court (ICC), Presidential Communications Office Undersecretary Claire Castro said on Wednesday.
Duterte earlier claimed her name is on the ICC list after saying that her conversations with her father, former President Rodrigo Duterte—currently detained by the ICC in The Hague, Netherlands—were recorded during her visits.
