“I extend my highest commendation to PNP Chief General Rommel Marbil and the entire Philippine National Police, especially the Anti-Kidnapping Group (AKG), for their swift and decisive action,” Co said.
“Let this be a clear message: criminals will not escape the long arm of the law,” he added.
Co further said the breakthrough highlights the commitment of the PNP to uphold peace and order for every Filipino.
The PNP announced on Saturday the arrest of suspects David Tan Liao, Richardo Austria David (also known as Richard Tan Garcia), and Raymart Catequista.
David and Catequista were arrested in Roxas town in Palawan province on Friday, while Liao surrendered to the police on Saturday afternoon.
