Valenzuela industrial fire, burning for 17 hours, declared under control

MANILA, Philippines — An industrial establishment in Valenzuela City is still caught on fire for 14 hours already, the Bureau of Fire Protection – National Capital Region (BFP-NCR) reported on Saturday.
BFP-NCR said that the fire that hit Flexo Manufacturing in Veinte Reales is still ongoing as of 7:11 a.m. However, the fire was declared under control at 8:12 a.m.

The massive fire reached the alarm of Task Force Alpha at 7:50 p.m. on Friday where a total of 34 firetrucks responded to the scene. The first alarm was confirmed at 5:25 p.m.
The BFP-NCR maintained that no casualties were recorded from the incident.
