MANILA, Philippines — NightOwl AI, an emerging force in ethical and inclusive artificial intelligence (AI), clinched the Global Excellence in AI Award at the 2025 International Tax and Investment Conference (ITIC) held at the Manila Marriott Hotel.
The award, presented in front of a global audience of government leaders, policymakers, and industry pioneers, recognized NightOwl AI’s pioneering contributions in using AI to drive economic development, promote sustainability, and enable digital inclusion, particularly across developing nations.
The ITIC, organized by Mon Abrea, Founder and CEO of the Asian Consulting Group, featured key discussions around ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) investing, fiscal resilience, and trends shaping the future of global investments.
This year’s theme, “FAST Forward: Promoting ESG Investing in the Philippines,” centered on aligning financial strategies with environmental and social impact.
April Me Yu Lamentillo accepted the award on behalf of NightOwl AI. Founder and CEO Anna Mae Yu Lamentillo, a leading advocate for AI sovereignty, expressed gratitude for the international recognition.
