8 students hurt in Camarines Sur road crash
NAGA CITY — Eight college students were injured after the car they were traveling in crashed into a motorists assistance center set up by the police early morning on Tuesday in Canaman, Camarines Sur province.
The police said in a report that the 20-year-old driver, who is also a student, lost control of the car that subsequently crashed into a Philippine National Police motorists assistance center at the side of the road at Barangay Baras, at around 2:30 a.m.
The driver and passengers, all students of Mariners Polytechnic Colleges Foundation located in Canaman, were hurt and taken to Bicol Medical Center in Naga City for treatment.
Investigation revealed that the students were traveling from Naga City to Canaman when the accident happened.
