MANILA, Philippines–Motorists heading northbound are advised to take an alternate route as traffic comes to a standstill due to a flooded area along EDSA, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority said early Thursday evening.
“Motorists heading northbound are advised to take C-5 instead of EDSA,” MMDA said in an advisory, noting that the famous highway is still affected by a gutter-level flood on P. Tuazon.
As of 6 p.m., Bravo 12 Metrobase officer said traffic between EDSA-Timog and Santolan was moderate to heavy, as well as from FB Harrison to Taft.
He also said the same traffic movement was being experienced along Magallanes, all the way to P.Tuazon.
“It is moving, but it is slow,” he said.
