Oblivious of his peso deposits, Suarez signs unconditional waiver on SALN
MANILA, Philippines—House Minority Leader and Quezon 3rd District Representative Danilo Suarez on Wednesday signed an unconditional waiver on his statement of assets, liabilities and net worth (SALN).
He said he was allowing for his SALN to be scrutinized and told reporters he had no dollar accounts.
Suarez said he would not wait for the 188 lawmakers who filed the impeachment complaint against former Chief Justice Renato Corona to sign waivers before him.
It was, however, up to other members of the minority bloc to sign their individual waivers.
But when asked how much his peso deposits were, he said he did not know.
