The master plan consists of major infrastructure projects, including expressways, bridges, and alternative routes aimed at reducing congestion along EDSA and other key thoroughfares. Among the flagship projects are Skyway Stage 3, the NLEX-SLEX Connector, the C5 Link, and several new bridges spanning the Pasig River.
Senator Villar urged the DOTr and DPWH to present a detailed report outlining completed projects, ongoing works, and future developments under the plan. He stressed the importance of ensuring that these initiatives deliver their intended benefits to the public.
“Our people deserve efficient and reliable infrastructure. By evaluating the progress of these projects, we can identify areas that need improvement and push for further enhancements to sustain Metro Manila’s long-term mobility solutions,” he added.
Villar reaffirmed his commitment to supporting infrastructure programs that complement the EDSA Decongestion Master Plan, ensuring that the country’s transport network remains resilient, efficient, and future-ready.
