ACTION in the 6th Red Durano Basketball Cup heats up as the Final Four stage starts today in games that will feature Liloan, Sogod, San Francisco and Danao City at the Carmen Multipurpose Gym.
The four teams will play a single round-robin to determine the top two teams that will fight for the championship.
Liloan takes on Sogod while Danao battles Camotes Island titlists San Francisco.
The reigning champion Liloan will largely lean on Paul Desiderio. Sogod, last year’s runner-up, will have Richcris Nwanaka and John Philipp de la Cerna.
Semifinal games will be played on three successive days. The championship match will be on Saturday at the Danao City Civic Center. /Correspondent Jonas Panerio
