Weekend road repairs set in parts of QC, Pasay City

MANILA, Philippines — Road repairs are scheduled this weekend in parts of Quezon City and Pasay City, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said in an advisory on Friday.

According to the MMDA, the Department of Public Works and Highways will conduct road reblocking and repair from 11:00 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 31 until 5:00 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 3.

The affected areas as as follows:

Quezon City

  • EDSA southbound, after West Avenue to after MRT North Avenue Station (First lane from center)
  • EDSA southbound, from Bansalangin Street to West Avenue (Third lane from center)
  • Payatas Road, after Amlac Village (Outer lane)
  • Luzon Avenue (Service Road), in front of Puregold (Outer lane)

Pasay City

  • Epifanio Delos Santos Avenue (EDSA) southbound, between Zamora Street and Taft Avenue (Fourth lane from inner lane)

 

“The affected roads will be fully passable by 5 a.m. on Monday, February 3,” MMDA said in its advisory.

Motorists are advised to take alternate routes during the during the roadworks.
