Lacson votes ‘guilty’ for Corona

MANILA, Philippines – Senator Panfilo Lacson on Tuesday found Chief Justice Renato Corona “guilty” of the charge of non-disclosure of his statement of assets and liabilities and networth (SALN).

In his speech, Lacson said that he found “it hard to believe his [Corona] testimony that he does not understand accounting,” noting that at a certain point, Corona had nearly $4 million and some P91.4 million in his accounts.

Lacson is the ninth Senator Judge who voted for the conviction of Corona.
