HFMD is a contagious viral infection primarily affecting children up to 10 years old. Common symptoms include fever, sore throat, loss of appetite, blister-like lesions on the tongue, gums, and inside the cheeks, and rashes on the palms and soles of the feet.

The City Health Office conducted contact tracing on Thursday to determine the source of the potential infections and identify people who may have interacted with the affected children.
