Corona should be acquitted, says ex-Sandiganbayan justice Pamaran

MANILA, Philippines—Retired Sandiganbayan Justice Manuel Pamaran said Chief Justice Renato Corona should be acquitted, “because the charges against him are not serious enough as provided by the Constitution…”

In an an interview early Tuesday with co-anchors Susan K and Den Macaranas on Radyo Inquirer, Pamaran also explained that the Senate, acting as impeachment court, can be brought to the Supreme Court because it is “supreme in all legal issues.”
