Priest blames Aquino gov’t for rising unemployment

MANILA, Philippines—“Palpak ang gobyerno ni Ginoong Benigno Aquino III (Aquino’s government is a failure),” said a well-known Catholic priest on the lack of job opportunities in the Philippines.

In a report from Radyo Inquirer early Tuesday, Fr. Anton Pascual, executive director of Caritas Manila, was quoted as saying there is no one to blame but the government of Aquino for not doing enough in solving the rising unemployment in the country and improving the lives of Filipinos.
