Cloudy skies forecast in Cagayan Valley, Aurora, Quezon Sunday (Jan 19)

MANILA, Philippines — Cloudy skies with chances of rain showers will prevail in most parts of the country on Sunday, according to the state weather bureau’s latest report.
Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said parts of Luzon will have cloudy skies, rain showers and cold weather.

“Para sa lagay ng panahon ngayong Linggo, maulap na kalangitan na may kasamang pag ulan pa rin dito sa bahagi ng Cagayan Valley, Aurora at Quezon dulot ng amihan,” weather specialist Grace Castañeda said in a morning forecast.
(For this day, we are expecting cloudy skies with rain showers in Cagayan Valley, Aurora and Quezon due to amihan.)
She added that the same will be experienced in Metro Manila and the rest of the region due to amihan.
Likewise, Visayas and Mindanao will have slightly cloudy to cloudy weather with possible isolated rain showers and thunderstorms.
Castañeda also reported that no low-pressure area or tropical cyclone was monitored inside and outside the country’s area of responsibility.
No gale warning was likewise raised in any of the country’s seaboard.
