Pump prices up again this week
MANILA, Philippines — Just as they did last week, oil companies will again raise the prices of their products effective on Jan. 14.
In separate advisories on Monday, Seaoil, Petro Gazz, Jetti, Caltex, Cleanfuel, and Shell Pilipinas said that per liter, the price of diesel would go up by 90 centavos.

On the other hand, gasoline and kerosene will be more expensive by 80 centavos per liter.
Rodela Romero, the Department of Energy’s Oil Industry Management Bureau assistant director, projected late last week that pump prices would go up as well this week due to global factors. —Lisbet K. Esmael
