Devotees flock to Quiapo Church as Traslacion 2025 carries on MANILA, Philippines — The area surrounding the Minor Basilica and National Shrine of Jesus Nazareno or the Quiapo Church on Thursday morning was packed with thousands of devotees ahead of the arrival of the image of Jesus Nazareno. As of posting time, the image of Jesus Nazareno was on the vicinity of Ayala Bridge, five hours since it left the the Quirino Grandstand around 4:41 a.m. Hourly fiesta masses also continued at the Quiapo Church. Devotees flock to Quiapo Church as Traslacion 2025 carries on Devotees who wish to participate in the Traslacion 2025 also packed Quezon Boulevard.

Several pother streets, including Carriedo, are likewise packed with devotees making their way to Quiapo Church.

The festive spirit is alive in area around Quiapo Church, as devotees chant “Viva Nazareno” every once in a while.

Once it arrives, the traditional “pahalik” or kissing and touching of the Jesus Nazareno will then resume at the church grounds itself.

The church will also finish its Fiesta Masses, celebrating the Feast of Jesus Nazareno, with its last mass slated at 11:00 p.m.
