MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. will discuss the “legacy projects” of his administration in a full Cabinet meeting on January 7, the first for this year.
In a Viber message to reporters on Thursday, Presidential Communications Office Secretary Cesar Chavez said “legacy projects, including big-ticket projects and ODA (Official Development Assistance)-funded projects,” would be discussed during the meeting.
Last year, Marcos led two full Cabinet meetings, two special cCabinet meetings, and 49 sectoral meetings.
Meanwhile, the first vin d’honneur for this year is on January 11.
The traditional vin d’honneur, attended by dignitaries and national leaders, is held twice a year to celebrate the start of a new year and to commemorate the Philippine independence. It usually takes place in Malacañan Palace.
The term vin d’honneur originated from the French tradition meaning “wine of honor.”
