House tackled 13,454 measures since 2022

MANILA, Philippines — Speaker Martin Romualdez on Sunday touted that the House of Representatives considered a total of 13,454 measures since 2022 and approved 1,368 measures, including 166 that became Republic Acts—73 national laws and 93 local laws—as well as 1,319 committee reports.

The comprising 11,241 bills, 2,212 resolutions and one petition filed from July 25, 2022, to Dec. 27, 2024, he said.

Romualdez described the achievement as a “new standard for productivity and purpose” in Congress, translating to an average of 12 per session day.
