Airport travel 2 hours longer

MACTAN Cebu International Airport Authority is advising airport users of prolonged travel time to the airport starting June 4 this year.

In a statement posted over the official MCIAA Facebook account named “Cebu Airport Mciaa,” the agency said repair work on the Marcelo Fernan Bridge “could cause disruption to the normal flow of traffic at the bridge including both approaches at Mandaue City and at the Lapulapu City side.

Passengers were also advised to “give yourself leeway of at least two hours travel time to reach your destination,” the same advise earlier issued by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) District 6./Correspondent Jessa J. Agua
