MANILA, Philippines — The management of the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) is reminding motorists to update their radio-frequency identification (RFID) accounts and stickers to enjoy problem-free trips via San Miguel Corporation (SMC) tollways.
In an advisory posted on X (formerly Twitter) Tuesday, SLEX said that defective stickers can be replaced without any fee at any RFID station.
It likewise advised motorists to make sure they have updated information on their RFID accounts – most importantly, the license plate number when the vehicle was registered under a conduction number – to avoid RFID sticker deactivation in the system.
